As the digital world becomes increasingly more prominent, many companies have made or are making the shift to online access. It is amazing how much you can accomplish online these days! You can buy shoes and home furnishings, pay bills and transfer money, apply for and post jobs, buy plane tickets or concert passes, access online courses and even download library books in digital format – the possibilities are literally endless! The seasons in Ontario continue to be a little askew… Mother Nature just can’t make up her mind about what season it is! Anyone who works in a customer service position, or who knows someone who works in customer service, can relate to how demanding the role can be sometimes. Most people are really nice, but some people are down-right nasty, and a few require a lot of ‘hand holding’ through the entire experience. Not all customers are sunshine and lollipops... This post is a tribute to all those staff members who don’t give up on their customers/clients and go the extra mile to make their day.
We do short stints to Buffalo at least once a year, and this one was last minute, but proved to be necessary and a good excuse to do some shopping! The purpose of the trip was to have a legal document notarized for my fiancé to get a new birth certificate, but the trip was also convenient for shopping [primarily for tools and shop gadgets for him]. I’ve included a few of my TripAdvisor reviews on the meals and hotel below too.
