It is not uncommon to see tattoos on the average person in this day and age. Sailors and bikers used to be the only ones with tattoos, but now tattoos are ‘cool and modern’. Even though tattoos are fairly common place, I have personally encountered several people (across various generations) that are not fans…
For those of you who are in a relationship (or who are at least considering one), I've decided to share a list of 50+ questions that my now husband and I asked each other at the 6 month mark - wayyy back in January 2012. I honestly don't remember where these questions originated from and take zero credit for writing them. Very likely, they are a combination of relationship building questions found online in 2012, plus a few of our my own questions. The ones that put things in perspective and set a foundation for our relationship and that you might find personally useful for yours.
This past Saturday, I attended Paws in the Park in the Beach, Toronto. The area where the event was hosted may have had something to do with it, but I was delighted at the number of pet owners who very willingly let me photograph their dog(s). I explained that I was building an online pet portfolio with hopes of approaching my local adoption centers with an idea to feature pets up for adoption in a different way, and I was ecstatic and surprised at the positive response.
I just spent three days in one of the most beautiful Provincial Parks in North America. Algonquin is simply pristine, with an abundance of nature and wildlife (though we didn't personally see any large wildlife). Very little written content this week because a picture is worth 1000 words - I hope these few speak to you.
It’s true – women are a mystery. Honestly, we are a labyrinth of complexity that even we ourselves do not understand. When asked how I relate as a woman or what I would do in her shoes (because I’m a woman), my answer is pretty well useless because women have very different opinions about everything. I am often baffled by what other women do, say and think, so my answer to you might as well be “the first one” because who knows what she might actually choose.
I’m working my way through life in Canada and traveling when I can afford to explore beyond the border. Sharing my tips, trips, opinions and rants on life and travel in the meantime.
