Fall is my favourite time of year! The beautiful colours captivate me, especially while driving through the back roads where there’s lots of changing scenery. I’ve had the pleasure of exploring in a few different places near home recently and strongly suggest that you get outdoors too before these vivid colours get wiped out by Old Man Winter arrives.
Last weekend, I was pleasantly surprised with an experience to photograph the Birds of Prey at Mountsberg Conservation Area in Hamilton. I have slowly been taking up recreational photography and everyone who knows me knows I love animals, so this was a great way to combine the two. My better half not only gave me a new camera last month (a Canon Rebel T5i) for our monthiversary, but planned a surprise for me to partake in this special opportunity and practice my skills – I’m so lucky!
I recently had the privilege of joining a group of ladies in wine country for a bachelorette weekend, and I think it’s safe to say we were all very impressed with our wine tour. It was well organized, educational and fun! In this post, I’m going to outline the tour inclusions and share my thoughts on the private wine tour that we experienced.
