Packing is a huge ordeal for me. Whether it’s for a weekend at a friend’s, camping or a trip far, far away, it takes some serious focus and effort to pack well and make sure I’m not missing anything crucial. On Wednesday, I packed for my 10-day trip to Taiwan (including flights, 8 days there) and packed much more last minute than I had planned. I was quite satisfied with my packing job! Here’s what I did/packed:
I leave for Taiwan next Thursday and was completely calm until I made a quick ‘to do’ list yesterday and realized I still have a lot of s*** to get in order! I booked my flight, renewed my passport and booked my day tours weeks ago, and made a mighty-fine day itinerary, but I haven’t really reviewed details since. But now it’s crunch time!
This post is sweet and simple – a reminder that breaking away from your regular routine can be just what you need. Rejuvenate your body and mind by stepping away from an ordinary day and trying something new or going somewhere you’ve not been before!

Finally sharing some of my journal (note-taking) contents - highlights of Turkey!
I’m working my way through life in Canada and traveling when I can afford to explore beyond the border. Sharing my tips, trips, opinions and rants on life and travel in the meantime.
