Last week, I spent five days in Orlando with one of my best friends, three of which were spent reliving our childhood dreams exploring Walt Disney World. This was my first visit to Florida and although we were hoping for more cooperative weather, the rain meant shorter lines and more ride time - our trip overall was a very successful one. Here is an overview of our adult trip to Disney (without kids and with lots of flexibility), as well as observations and tips for future Disney World visitors.
I had the unfortunate displeasure of dealing with a ExploreTrip.com when booking my April flights to Quito over the last couple of weeks and I want to WARN anyone booking a flight to pay very close attention to the third party selling you that ticket, because if it’s ExploreTrip.com, RUN, don’t walk, away because it’s not worth the headache!
I’m big on disproving stereotypes and all for strong and independent women! Ladies who think they are princesses and are afraid to get their hands dirty or lift a finger are creatures I will never understand. I wish more women would voice their opinions and stand up for their beliefs, but it is still not uncommon for them to remain silent due to lack of confidence or for fear of ridicule or being different. I want to give a boost to those women – to tell them just to “try it” – you can do it and you might even surprise yourself!
Having lived with my now husband for five years this year, I think I have had a decent amount of exposure to the complex inner-workings of boy brains. Each one unique and a mystery though they are, we as women can only begin to fathom understanding the tip of this iceberg…
I’m working my way through life in Canada and traveling when I can afford to explore beyond the border. Sharing my tips, trips, opinions and rants on life and travel in the meantime.
