Halloween isn’t just a good excuse for dressing up and eating candy – it’s a good excuse to get creative too! Like any [unofficial] holiday, decorating is part of the fun. Here’s some inspiration for your Halloween décor, and all for under $5! Whether you’re the artsy type (or even if you’re not), this DIY technique will work for you.

I made this cat, three bats and ghost family in about 2.5 hours and with $3 worth of bristol board, a tidbit of tissue paper, a glue stick and two pairs of scissors. Below are the steps walking you through how to make these fun cut-outs or you can apply the same idea to similar designs.
