Product Review: Electric Foot Warmer Mat (Heated Floor Mat)

Product Name/Model: Cozy Products FW Electric Foot Warmer Mat
Purchase cost: Currently retails for under $125 on Amazon (was purchased in December 2016 when priced at $45 on Amazon)
Features:
  • Provides direct warmth
  • Low energy (90 watts), up to 130°F
  • Made of durable heavy-duty rubber (also water-resistant)
My Product Review
I always have cold feet, even in the summer sometimes, so I LOVE this foot mat! DP purchased it as a Christmas gift and it should be on every cold girl’s wish list. I use it almost daily in the winter when it’s colder in our basement/computer room – it just sits under my desk and keeps my feet toasty for hours. Note that it can actually make your feet too hot if you have thin socks or no socks (I usually just shut it off for a bit).
Pros:
  • Works as advertised – toasty feet, fast (within minutes) and for as long as desired
  • Multi-purpose – use for cold feet, icy winter boots, as a heating pad, etc.
  • Energy efficient
  • Completely rubberized (durable)
Cons:
  • None that I can think of*
Suggestions for Improvement:
  • *I would be someone who would benefit from multiple timer settings rather than just ‘on’ and ‘off’. On a couple of occasions, I’ve had to get out of bed because I forgot (or thought I forgot)  to turn off the mat. I’m not too worried about safety or my electricity bill (it’s been tested on the carpet for months and is still pretty low-energy), but if I did have a 2- or 5-hour auto-timer option, that would save me the extra effort of getting out of bed and worrying if I remembered to turn it off.
My Personal Rating: Product 5/5
*This review is 100% unsolicited and reflects my true opinion of the product

Ha! That sounds like a great little product - and for the guys, it's worth the investment so we don't "discover" ice-cold feet later on!
