My Product Review (Mens Heated Jacket)
I purchased this coat a month ago during a Black Friday sale (when the battery kit is included FREE with the purchase of a jacket) – an incredible deal if you can wait for it – and have been incredibly happy with its performance. My fiancé had owned the coat a few months prior to me and had nothing but positive feedback, so I decided to upgrade too. Although the jacket is designed for construction or outdoor use, it is very practical for the everyday average Jane/Joe. I purchased it because I had a heavy-duty parka and a light-duty (non-weather-proof) fall jacket, and nothing in-between. This heated jacket fills the gap and is very practical for keeping warm in cold weather and is compact enough to drive in (compared to my poofy parka that gets in the way). They also have a line of heated hoodies to choose from. More on Milwaukee’s M12 Heated Gear product line here.
Note: I made arrangements with my local Milwaukee rep to try on the ladies jacket, as I had concerns that the largest size would be a tight fit. The rep, Brooke, let me know when she would be in-store and graciously opened a ladies large box for me to try on – we discussed and decided that even the XL wouldn’t be large enough to accommodate a layer or two of clothing underneath. But allowing me to try it on helped me decide that I did in fact need to go with the mens jacket (because you can’t always rely on sizing charts).
