If you have actually seen my homepage recently, you might be familiar with the few updates I have noted for 2019. This is more of a FYI post for readers to know what’s coming up and what to expect from Nicole Buzzing moving into 2019.
So, I definitely have some new ideas in mind for 2019! I’m going to aim to feature a guest post every month for readers. January's was a feature post from Outdoorsy about RVing in Ontario and next month I have a feature planned on sustainable tourism hot spots in an unnamed destination (stay tuned!). I intend to feature other travel bloggers as well and the idea is that by sharing others’ highlights and ideas, you as the reader get some new content and a new perspective too.
I have also moved my posting night to Wednesday (Thursday mornings for Twitter) and plan to get active once more on Twitter with regards to sharing more travel and photography-related content (sorry, I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus there!). However, you may have noticed that I started an Instagram account and have been working on my pet and wildlife photography. You will definitely see more cats and dogs (and perhaps a bunny or two) in the coming months, as I will be working with the Guelph Humane Society to help feature their animals up for adoption.
I’m also developing a structured schedule for my posts, so you will see more diverse content and more structure with regards to the type of posts I’ll be sharing. Some of my posts will require a bit of research and will include interesting finds around the globe. Of course, there will be a few opinion pieces and some local Ontario content too. I’ll also be working to share more of my images not only on Instagram, but on my blog too in my digital gallery.
AND I’m building a new website! I think Weebly has been a great free platform, but I want more. I’ve got hosting and my domain set up, I just need a few weeks to build. I hope you like it!
Anyway, that’s pretty much all for now, but I just wanted to thank my readers from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Malaysia, Vietnam and the other undefined regions (courtesy of Google analytics) know that there is much more to come!
I’m working my way through life in Canada and traveling when I can afford to explore beyond the border. Sharing my tips, trips, opinions and rants on life and travel in the meantime.
